La scena girata da Tarantino è il dialogo tra Dwight e il "cadavere parlante"di Jackie Boy. Il contributo del regista, esageratamente pubblicizzato in trailers e manifesti, consiste dunque in una scena di soli 3 minuti.

Robert Rodriguez cercò più volte di convincere Tarantino a non utilizzare una macchina vera nella scena che si stava preparando a girare.
Solo dopo aver girato alcune inquadrature, Tarantino, si rese conto che il suo amico Rodriguez aveva ragione e rigirò la scena seguendo il suo consiglio.

Le katane usate da Miho sono state utilizzate anche da alcuni crazy 88 in Kill Bill vol. 1. Tarantino ne corserva alcune in garage.

Robert Rodriguez compose le musiche originali per Kill Bill vol. 2 per 1$. Tarantino ripagò l'amico girando una scena del suo Sin City per 1 $.

Michael Madsen ottenne il ruolo di Bob quasi per caso.
L'attore infatti avvicinò il regista Robert Rodriguez al party per la prima di Kill Bill e gli chiese a brucia pelo come mai non lo aveva ancora chiamato per far parte del cast di Sin City. Rodriguez, allora, lo scritturò per l'unico ruolo che era rimasto.

L'idea che la voce di Jackie Boy diventasse più stridula
quando, girando la testa, faceva aprire la profonda ferita alla gola provocata dalla spada di Miho, venne a Quentin Tarantino.
